Hi I’m Suzie,

I failed Art at school ( I’m still not sure why!). So spent the I am a ceramic artist and my work focuses on creating beautiful, one-off, hand-painted ceramic pieces for your home.

I love developing and exploring similar themes and patterns in my work, but no two pieces can ever be the same. Each one is an individual piece of art: sometimes functional, but always decorative.

My Process

I create each piece using a variety of methods; hand-building the clay or designing moulds and slip-casting the bodies to produce my ‘canvas’.

My work is painted/ illustrated using underglazes when the clay is leather-hard, it is still very fragile and much care needs to be taken not to break the work at this stage.

Each piece is then fired twice in the kiln between 900 and 1250 degrees centigrade.

This results in original works of art & craft that could last a lifetime.

I love creating my work and I hope that each piece you own brings joy every time you use it or catch a glimpse of it out of the corner of your eye.
